Textile Care

We believe that it is ok for a garment, textile, or person to need special care. Our pieces are made with your wellbeing, and the wellbeing of the planet in mind. This means we do not treat our textiles with toxic chemicals that would cause harm. Below are the care instructions for your favorite Earthen Warrior pieces.

With the proper love and care, they will last you a long time.

Sleep Mask

Sleep masks can be hand washed or machine washed.

Hand Wash: Wash in tepid water with natural detergent. Here is a list of detergents that got good ratings on the Environmental Working Group. Do not use fabric softeners. Air Dry.

Machine Wash: In a mesh bag, wash sleep mask in warm or cool water wash. Because of the delicacy of silk and cashmere, never use extreme temperatures like cold or hot. Do not use fabric softeners. Air dry to maintain integrity of elastic band.

We recommend washing your sleep mask no more than every couple weeks. Silk, cashmere and natural dyes, have natural antimicrobial properties that necessitate less frequent laundering. We also recommend having more than one mask if it is something you use every night. It’s good to give something you use daily, or nightly, a rest.

Keep out of direct sunlight to maintain color vibrancy.
